Spiritual Awakening
Hi, my name is Kelly Raisner, and I am the owner and creator of Desert Soul. I was born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada, and most people I know refer to me as Vegas, which I love.
Growing up in the desert gave me a profound sense of tranquility, as I have always found it completely peaceful and beautiful.
I'm a very proud mother to a 10-year-old girl named Graceson, who was the first person I've ever loved truly and unconditionally. Grace is my light. I am also blessed to say that I'm happily married to my best friend, Reggie Raisner, who has been my rock and biggest supporter.
My family is by far the most essential thing in my life. I also love to do fun raisers to help kids in any way I can. I love kids! I cannot stress that enough!!
I've been in the Beauty industry since 2005 and have accumulated several certificates and licenses in that 20 years. Among those are my licensures in esthetics, cosmetology, hairstyling, laser hair removal, makeup artistry, microblading, and lip blushing, to name a few.
It was in 2020 when, like most during the pandemic, I tapped into a part of myself that I didn't know existed, and my spiritual awakening began.
I also discovered that I was quite an artist I never knew. Painting, as is coloring, is one of my favorite things to do to escape.
My spirituality became my saving Grace, which is also what I call my daughter! I learned about the power of the moon and crystals, and I even began my own full moon rituals, where I learned how to manifest my dreams and desires, which have all come true.
I practice Paganism, Wicca, and Buddhism, and I even give offerings to my trees. In regards to my faith? I've actually have been asked if I worship the devil, which I find funny as I believe in God as the universe. I believe that God is you, and God is me.
I've always had a relationship with my spirit guides and have had somewhat of a sixth sense and a strong intuition. However, in 2020, I was becoming more aware things began to increase. The universe has given me immense experience, although I still have a long road to go, and I'm learning.
It's been a blessing and a curse that all my life, people, even strangers, have come up to me to tell me their problems.
However, I've always felt they need someone to listen and be there for them because there must be something about me that people know that they can trust, and there must be something about me that people know that I genuinely care about them.
I want to help people on their journey and give them the tools to show them their greatness and strength.
I am a moon worshipping tree-hugging barefoot in the grass walking, witchy woman.
Some have accused me of being involved with black magic, but I can assure you everything I do is for the good of all and to the harm of none!
And that is what it's all about. I wanted to fulfill my dreams and slow down in life. Vibe high and lay low.
I realized that money doesn't define success. Peace does.
